DIY Bleached Shorts

Hola. Want awesome shorts? Well, read on. 

Start with some pants as such-

Find some shorts that you like the length of and lay them on top of the aforementioned pants.

Mark with a pen, and cut along the line. Try them on to make sure they are shmexy and make modifications as needed. 

We threw these in some bleach till they turned white-

The amount of time you let them sit in bleach, depends on the pants. So check back every few minutes, swirling them around and what not. These took about 30 minutes. 

Take them out and wash. Be sups careful about bleach spilling on you because although bleached jeans are awesome, bleach spots are not. 

Now what you are going to do is fold the shorts like an accordion, real tight. Place two blocks of wood on each side and rubber band it, again real tight. 

Now get some clothing dye and follow the directions on the bottle. 

Take them out, wash, dry, wear, love.
